10 Primary and Early Child hood development centers (ECD) each with a capacity of about 350 t0 400 children have been supported to provide integrated care and support packages to the orphans and other vulnerable children and their families through, food security promotion, including hand hoes and pesticides provision, trainings in agronomic principles of crop production and soil fertility improvement to each individual school. 12 centers have been provided with a set of  Psychosocial support to the children and caregivers using story telling by the older people/ senior citizens to children, songs and games, Basic health education and first Aid to children while ensuring effective referral, Nutrition education and feeding program at the center and Growth monitoring among others. Vision for the Aged Uganda has at its helm the Annual General Assembly that elects the Board and to which the Board is responsible. The Board constitutes the policy-making organ of the organization and is charged with the duty of spearheading the organizational development. It appoints the Executive Director who spearheads the day today organizational activities and to whom the staff reports to. At community level, there are affiliate community based organizations/projects with project management committees that constitute to manage and oversee the implementation of activities. This is intended to encourage community support, ownership and sustainability of the programs.
